2009 NKBA Design Award: Open Plan Kitchens - Second Place

Design Notes: Mahogany cabinets in matte and gloss finishes, a backsplash made of etched glass, and jatoba wood floors with an inlay of honey gold slate tile create a soothing kitchen with interesting architectural details and textures. Work surfaces at different heights and multiple appliance stations make it easy for the family of six to cook and enjoy meals.
