2009 NKBA Design Award: Medium Kitchens - Honorable Mention

Design: To turn a one-cook kitchen into a room that functions for four without looking cluttered, the designer relied on two pantries and deep drawers instead of wall cabinets, with floating shelves for everyday items. A wall of appliances, including a speed oven, a steam oven and an espresso machine, completes the kitchen.
Products and Materials: Silestone Grey Amazon quartz countertop with leather finish; Kohler Karbon faucet; Franke sink; Miele microwave, wall oven, cooktop and vent hood; Liebherr refrigerator; SieMatic cabinetry in elm.
