2009 NKBA Design Award: Medium Kitchens - Second Place

Design Notes: Inspired by Beaux Arts art and architecture, this kitchen design uses eclectic styles and strict symmetry. A custom mosaic countertop and pale green cabinetry make the island stand out from the white marble and white cabinets on the walls. At right, the "Chinese wedding cabinet" conceals the refrigerator.
Products and Materials: SieMatic BeauxArts collection cabinets in magnolia white, dark maple, and amaranth green; white Carrara marble perimeter countertops and backsplashes, limestone flooring, Wolf range, SieMatic range hood, Sub-Zero refrigerator, Blanco sink and faucet.
